All our products are residue free using the most advanced growing techniques. We grow all our plants under polytunnels in soilless culture allowing us to provide ideal environment minimizing the need for crop protection. We care about biodiversity thus our crop protection schedule is such that enable us to have rich biodiversity respecting nature. We implement the IPM protocol introducing natural enemies to control insect pests and minimize the use of chemicals.

Our irrigation is controlled by sensors thus we deliver what a plant needs minimizing water losses. At the same time our fertigation is applied only after nutrient analysis therefore we deliver exactly what is required. The ultimate benefit is that our berries are residue free but at the same time are produced with the minimum water and nutrients required, thus respecting the environment. We are fully equipped with certificates such as GLOBALG.A.P, GRASP, Sedex-Smeta and IFS FOOD. You can find our berries under the trademark of Olympic Land Berries.

Η ευαισθητοποίηση των καταναλωτών σχετικά με τα οφέλη των φρούτων και των λαχανικών στη διατροφή μας έχει αυξηθεί τα τελευταία χρόνια. Ωστόσο, οι καταναλωτές γίνονται όλο και πιο ανήσυχοι όσον αφορά την παρουσία χημικών υπολειμμάτων στα προϊόντα που καταναλώνουν. Ενώ η γεύση, το άρωμα, η εμφάνιση αλλά και η ομοιομορφία παίζουν έναν κρίσιμο ρόλο στην λεγόμενη “ποιότητα”, η ασφάλεια όσον αφορά την κατανάλωσή τους έχει αναδειχθεί σε ουσιαστικό συστατικό της ποιότητας.

Η κεντρική στρατηγική μας στη Berryplasma είναι να παράγουμε φρούτα χωρίς χημικά, σεβόμενοι πρωτίστως το περιβάλλον, προωθώντας τη βιοποικιλότητα και προσφέροντας στο καταναλωτή ένα ασφαλές προς κατανάλωση προϊόν. Έτσι, όλοι οι μικροί καρποί που παράγονται από την εταιρεία μας όχι απλά είναι συμμορφούμενοι με τα επίσημα ανώτατα όρια υπολειμμάτων της Ε.Ε – MRL αλλά γίνεται προσπάθεια να περιέχουν ελάχιστα έως μηδενικά χημικά υπολείμματα σε κάθε περίπτωση πολύ κάτω από τα επίσημα όρια και στις συντριπτικά περισσότερες περιπτώσεις χωρίς καν την παρουσία τους . Αυτό σημαίνει ότι ο καταναλωτής μπορεί να τρώει τα φρέσκα φρούτα μας χωρίς να ανησυχεί για οποιοδήποτε επιβλαβές υπόλειμμα στο προϊόν. Για να επιτύχουμε την απουσία χημικών υπολειμμάτων, προβαίνουμε σε αυστηρούς ελέγχους και παρεμβάσεις στη σωστή στιγμή με τα κατάλληλα μέσα σε όλα τα κρίσιμα στάδια της παραγωγής . Καλλιεργούμε με βάση τις αρχές της ολοκληρωμένης διαχείρισης παραγωγής ICM ( Integrated Crop Management) .Επιδιώκουμε, όλο και περισσότερο να βασιζόμαστε σε δεδομένα για την κάθε ενέργεια που κάνουμε με την χρήση αισθητήρων που παρακολουθούν διάφορες παραμέτρους , τις αναλύσεις και την συστηματική παρακολούθηση των πληθυσμών των εχθρών και των ασθενειών .Με την χρήση όλο και περισσότερων δεδομένων τείνουμε προς τη πρακτική εφαρμογή της λεγόμενης Γεωργίας Ακριβείας .Αρχή μας είναι ότι μπορούμε να αποδεχόμαστε και ίσως επιθυμούμε πολλές φορές τη μερική απώλεια της παραγωγής, εάν αυτό κριθεί απαραίτητο, προκειμένου να αποφύγουμε κινδύνους για τον καταναλωτή. Επιπλέον, διεξάγουμε τακτικούς ελέγχους σε πιστοποιημένα και εξειδικευμένα εργαστήρια, τα οποία αποτελούν μία απ’ τις βασικές δικλείδες ασφαλείας για να διασφαλίσουμε ότι τα προϊόντα μας είναι αποδεδειγμένα απόλυτα ασφαλή . Το όραμά μας είναι να παραδίδουμε καρπούς στην καλύτερη κατάστασή τους, σεβόμενοι τόσο τον καταναλωτή όσο και το περιβάλλον.
